Justin Reid respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information that you provide to us. We adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines to keep your information private, and within your control. By using our website and appointment software (Square), you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by Justin Reid as explained below.
Personal Information.
You have complete control over your personal information. In general, you can visit our website without providing us with any personal information. However, there are instances where we must have your personal information in order for you to communicate with us, or for us to grant you access to our protected and secured sites. This information may include registration data (your name, address, email address, phone number, title, etc.), information request data and response data ("User Information"). When you receive your confirmation email or when you receive any email from the list server, you will be given instructions on how to remove yourself from the list.
Use of User Information.
We intend to use such information solely for the purpose of supporting your relationship with Justin Reid by designing website content that is suitable to your needs and alerting you to new product and service offerings as they become available. If you decide that we should not use your personal User Information to contact you, please let us know and we will not use that information for such purpose. However, please do not submit any User Information if you are less than 18 years of age.

We also continue to implement procedures to maintain accurate, complete and current User Information.
We recommend that clients arrive to their appointment at least 5-10 minutes early. This will allow us to get any necessary paperwork out of the way, and it will help to ensure that our clients will be able to receive the full duration of their service!
Ultimately, early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience for everybody!
Arriving late cuts down on your valuable treatment time. If you arrive late, your treatment will likely still end on time in consideration of the next client. We are usually able to accommodate an arrival of up to 15 minutes late, and will complete the service as much as possible with the allotted time remaining. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes behind without notice will be subject to our no show policy.
We ask your clients to provide at least 3 hours notice prior to your scheduled service if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment.
If a client fails to cancel at least 3 hours prior to their service, they will be charged a $50 dollar late cancelation fee. This charge is out of respect for the therapist who has planned their schedule around the appointment. It is also out of respect for fellow clients who may have been interested in that time slot.
We understand that unanticipated events can occur. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings, and children’s illnesses are just a few examples of why somebody may consider cancelling their massage appointment.
However, we ask that you call if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment time. Clients who fail to show up for appointments after our grace period of 15 minutes following the scheduled session start time without proper notice will be charged for the entire balance due.
Clients who give proper notice before the end of the 15 minute grace period are subject to the $50 late cancellation fee, detailed in our cancellation policy.
Prior to each massage session, your massage therapist will discuss your treatment plan with you. Prior to your first visit with Justin Reid, you will receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign the consent stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients that have not been seen for at least a year will also be asked to fill out this form.
It is the responsibility of the client to keep us informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in their health conditions.
For clients diagnosed with cancer and are currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapies – Please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of, and agrees to, the desired treatment.
Clients under the age of 18 are required to have a guardian present to sign paperwork on their behalf, and may be asked to remain in the adjacent room for the session duration.
Clients under the age of 16 are required to have a guardian in the room for the duration of their massage.
We do not typically accept clients under the age of 14.
I am a licensed massage therapist, a professional that is held to the highest standards by Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), and the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR).
I cannot diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions. I may refer you to a medical professional for diagnosis. My services are not intended as an alternative for proper medical attention for specific conditions.
Justin Reid does not issue refunds for completed services, late fees, or no show charges.
During session, we are happy to adjust pressure, room/table/stone temperature, musical volume, or work more/less on an area if you request it.
The client may choose to: leave on or remove as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods or stop massage at any time.
The client will always be draped in a professional manner, never exposing the gluteal cleft, genitals, or breasts.
Comments, gestures, touching, or other acts inferring a sexual nature between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate. The session will be terminated immediately in the case of sexual harassment, and the client will be responsible for full payment of the service.
Justin Reid reserves the right to refuse service. It is unlikely that we will need to enforce this right. Here are a few examples situations of when we may enforce this policy:
The client is under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
The client has symptoms resembling fever, covid-19, and other communicable pathologies.
The Massage Therapist believes that the client would be directly harmed as a result of the service.
The client acts in a rude manner.
The client is currently bleeding through an open wound, has untreated broken bones, or shows signs of significant pain. In any of these cases the Massage Therapist will immediately recommend that you visit a physician.
Clients that are refused service before their session may be offered the option to reschedule without additional fees, asked to provide a doctors note before their next session, etc.
Justin Reid does not not request gratuity of any kind. In fact, it is actively discouraged, as Justin believes that expected gratuity or other forms of hidden fees for massages creates undue stress and friction for the client. The menu prices are set in accordance with the desired value and perception of fair exchange for the services rendered and products used.
